As of today, 4th June 2017, I am no longer the keyboard player in Innovator. After 4 years and 5 months the experience has ended. I enjoyed my time in this band and creating new songs and performing live, but now I am concentrating on my own songwriting only. Hopefully collaborations will occur in due course.

SoundCloud Update
I have uploaded more songs, although very rough copies, to my SoundCloud site. They are ‘Wicked Babies’ recordings which feature myself and one other. We recorded with a view to forming a complete band called, ‘Wicked Babies’. It never quite happened and Steve Emm only really took on the role of session guitarist and singer (as well as helping to work out the chords for some of my songs). As I have not gained his approval to upload the ‘Wicked Babies’ recordings I have not made them public yet. They are only rough rehearsal recordings using a tape recorder (25+ years ago) and do not necessarily complement our current abilities. Nonetheless, they are songs that do have structures and chord sequences that may be re-recorded at some point.

Choose a number betweeen 001 – 785
Hello to anyone viewing this site. In my complete lyric title list you will see that some of the titles have musical attachments already. Ones that are in bold writing do have musical compositions, but not recorded/uploaded yet. If you choose a number that is just lyrics or a poem I will turn the words into a song. I’m not sure how much response I will get, but I will deal with that when it happens.

Other music updates
Well, a gig with Innovator tonight at the Avon Brewery in Salisbury (filling in for another band at the last minute). Been trying to perfect the sounds on my keyboards all afternoon. Best load the car up soon.

Hello world!
This website is still in it’s embryonic stage. What I can tell you is, inbetween performing with Innovator (April 14th, 2017 @ ‘The Hobbit’, Southampton) I am continuing to write new lyrics and creating new songs. Yesterday I completed lyric 782 (‘Metric Lady’). This was inspired by an obscure comment by a supervisor at my work place. Similarly, 779 (‘Man WIth A Fork’) was inspired by a strange, but inspiring, sentence: “He’s a man with a fork in a land of soup”. Sometimes you need a of craziness for inspiration.
