‘Love Music’ was written in the early 1990s and I was offered a publishing deal for the original version. Since it was recorded with Jimmy Trigwell in 1994, I have added another verse and, in 2018, added a female session singer (LuZ) sang lead vocals on the track. This is a cover of that version, by The Lost Connection A.I.M. ‘Suzie’ and ‘High’ follow this song on the album and are included in this playlist.

Hello subscribers and other readers,

It has been a bad month or two, on the physical side of things. As well as fluid on the knee, I also have arthritis in both knees, but my right is very inflamed. This means I will be losing more money this week, probably, I do not get paid when off sick. This has made it even more important for me to promote my book. I have paid for a book promotion, which was to be supported by the songs for which contain the lyrics that are in the book. Based on this, I decided to create another AI album, but a recreation of one I have already recorded and released. This album was recorded in the nineteen-nineties, using a 4-track recorder. The production quality of ‘Reality In Dreamland’ isn’t that good, so I decided to use my virtual band, The Lost Connection A.I.M, to recreate this album. One of the songs is about Christmas and it seemed a very appropriate song to release as a single, especially as it is very significant in story as well.

‘If Only (Pigs Could Fly At Christmas)’ will be available to download on 5th December, 2025, but can be pre-saved now. The album for which it is a part of, has also been recreated (all 21 tracks in total). It hasn’t been released yet, but will be in 2026. My other 4 albums, that have song lyrics featured in the book, I am now intending to recreate, also. This will hopefully make people more inclined to listen to my albums. As many people are AI haters, I am curious to see which versions are preferred.

I am uploading all of my new new album songs onto SoundCloud in the meantime, but they still remain private at the moment. But, due to having uploaded so many of my other songs over the last year, I am holding them back until they are released (although a few are available to hear already). I must thank my listeners for being so dedicated. Since I became a Pro Subscriber I have had nearly half a million listens now. It make no money from these streamings, but it gives me pleasure knowing people are listening to, and liking them. For me, AI has been a dream come true. Now all ,my lyrics that I never had time to record well, if at all, can now be heard as I intended or in a way that AI decided that I found interesting.

I still have many song lyrics to turn into songs, and old songs to recreate. More albums are being created and I am looking forward to 2026.

Gain With Aim by The Lost Connection A.I.M – DistroKid

Hello all,

I’m glad to report that my 2nd ‘The Lost Connection A.I.M‘ album will be released this Friday. It can be pre-saved on Spotify (link is above), or you can wait until Friday to hear this album (if you haven’t already listened on SoundCloud and/or Donna AI). It has been tweaked for the release, so whatever you’ve heard already is not necessarily exactly how the album will sound.

Whether you are for or against AI, I think this one will open your mind in a surprisingly good way. So, please check out ‘Gain With Aim‘ and if you like it, please share (or even if you don’t lol).

I’ll say no more for now and will look forward to Friday. My previous album hasn’t gained much attention yet, which isn’t surprising, but ‘Wicked Babies: Reborn‘ is definitely worth a listen too. It isn’t a conceptual album, but was a good way of remembering my songs from the early 1990s.

Hi to all my subscribers,

Gain With Aim – The Lost Connection A.I.M was due for release on 1st September, but due to minor amendments I back-dated it to 19th September. However, the album is now sounding good and hopefully it will be released by next Friday but I will update you all once I know for sure. Meanwhile, the album can be heard on SoundCloud.

Also, earlier this week I accidently removed the first 25 songs on the Lyric Index – Song Links page. After trying to restore the page through Revisions and not succeeding, I have manually re-entered the song titles and links. The album links are not accessible yet but the SoundCloud links are. Hopefully I will rectify this problem within a day or two.

Hi all,

As you probably know, I have released one album, Wicked Babies: Reborn (Amazon, ‎Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, etc) using Donna AI so far. I am intending to release more but have created over 300 pleasingly good songs from my lyrics, through over 1200 attempts. I have now run-out until October. This might be a good thing as I have been using this App at every possible moment and maybe time to take a break. Hopefully the fee will remain the same as last year, as apposed to how much additional credits will cost in the meantime. If, however, I do not renew my membership my album will probably be withdrawn from all streaming sites. Based on this possibility I advise any of you wishing to continue to listen to my songs then stream and save them now. SoundCloud will always contain every song or tune I have ever recorded, or created (nearly 1000 recordings now), but if you don’t subscribe to SoundCloud and want to make me $0.01 – $0.0001 per play, then you can listen on the above mentioned streaming sites as well as many more.

Hopefully I will continue to subscribe to Donna AI and continue releasing AI albums. And when time allows I may even record some more songs myself. On my SoundCloud Song Index. you can hear the songs I have recorded are together with the A.I.M songs. I am intending to add music to about 90% of my lyrics eventually. The Song History Index. is where everything can be found. The sound quality of the AI songs is better than my own productions, but I still prefer the personal touch which I gave to my songs when I was the composer, musician and vocalist.

Meanwhile, I need to release ‘Gain With AIM’ while I can and work out what albums to release after that. I hope you are enjoying my music and, if so, I’m sure you will enjoy my future releases too.

On 30th June I will be releasing ‘Wicked Babies: Reborn’ (DistroKid) as The Lost Connection A.I.M. It will be available on all streaming sites and can be pre-ordered now. There were 2 tracks that I forgot to include from the 1991 – 1993 period, but a bit too late to include them now. As I have a second book of lyrical poetry due for release, which includes all of the lyrics from this album, it is probably a good thing that I have left off ‘Boogie Woogie Reggae Suzie’ and ‘Together Forever In Harmony’. They were catchy songs but not as good in a lyrical context (but I may add them….)

Soon I will prepare my second album for release, which will probably be somewhen in July. This album will be ‘Gain With A.I.M (II)’. Both of my next album releases contain 20 songs and, as in the past, you get loads of songs for your money if you stream/purchase the whole album.

If my book, and album releases, gain enough attention then it will allow me to expand my creative ideas more. I would like more videos to be created for my songs, in addition to ‘Love Me‘. I have many big ideas, but when working full-time it is hard to get much done – or more than I am doing already at least. These things cost money and my book hasn’t been selling well up until now, but as the book has now been amended and fault-free as of April 2025, then I am hoping my book will start to sell now. From each book sale I get about £0.83, so until my book sales reach the 1000+ level, I will not be able to consider these progressive steps.

Fortunately, releasing albums is very inexpensive and is something I will keep doing, but the chance of actual making money from it are very slim. So, if you really do like what I do, please buy my book (Austin Macauley Publishers). If purchased direct from my publishers the profit will be slightly higher for me and you will definitely get the newly amended version.

As you know, I am now utilising modern technology to turn unused lyrics into songs, or improve songs that were recorded, but not necessarily released. I do have an album planned, named: The Reincarnation of the ‘Wicked Babies’, in memory of Steve Emm. It features the songs which we played, or tried to create between 1991 – 1993.

While using Donna AI, sometimes amazing songs are created, but I am not always able to upload them. This is a shame, but I am trying to find out how these songs can be shared on SoundCloud and featured on future albums. Some of the songs sound a bit too polished, but here is an exclusive insight to these songs. People that don’t visit my website will not be able to hear these songs so, just for you, here are the exclusive song links:

This is a brand new song that has never been recorded before. Donna AI made it sound perfect.

I am currently negotiating with Art & Animation designers who are offering their services on future releases and ventures. I was intending to release ‘Love Me’ as a single soon, but the artwork was rushed and, despite loving the 1st version, I may have to release the 2nd version instead, as it has gained much more interest.

Also, my book will be reprinted very soon and will look as I originally intended – error-free, plus a few improvement tweaks. It has taken a long time to iron out all the imperfections and this has hindered any promotional steps and, undoubtedly, hindered the sales figures. Once it has been re-published I will try to get a publishing deal for Volume Two of ‘The Words Behind The Music’. The lyrics for the next album project will be featured in this book.

Anyway, that’s all for now. I hope you like my future endeavours and if you buy my book that will definitely help me to establish a slight presence in the poetry and lyrics market.

Hi everyone,

As you know, I have now delved into the world of AI. My catalogue of songs is growing everyday and I now have created over 100 songs using Donna AI. I was fortunate enough to hear Sounds Of Salisbury play ‘In The Doghouse’ on the Odstock Radio show. The response to my newly created songs on SoundCloud has been amazing, especially in the eastern side of the world. Once I have tidied-up and extended some of the song lengths, I will create playlists with a view to them becoming future album releases. This new era I am calling ‘The A.I.M Of’‘ and each playlist will have its own individual title as well. This is still work-in-progress. In the meantime, I need to continue building my library of AI songs to enable a vaster choice of songs to create the best conceptual playlists that I can.

My current book will be reprinted and available once the first batch has been sold (somewhen soon this year, hopefully) and then it will be time to focus on getting Volume Two published. The original draft for Volume Two may be amended if I intend to plan a third book based on my A.I.M releases. The Wicked Babies’ songs are being recreated and may not be featured in the ‘Unreleased Song Lyrics’ section (apart from those that have been featured on previous albums).

Hi all Followers and Subscribers,

Some of you will have already noticed that I have changed the look of my website. The original look was over-loaded with links. Now, just the essentially things are listed on the Homepage. On the homepage you will see new categories, e.g. Book and Donna AI. I have done this to bring to the attention the release of my book, and my AI project. Also, in the drop-down index, you will see the mention of Colin & Collins Website Designers. This is a business partnership which was established a few months ago, but due to other commitments, hasn’t been professionally active as of yet. Collins is the web-designing specialist (JavaScript specialist and PHP Developer) whereas I am primarily in charge of the admin side of things. Our website is still being created by Collins, but we are open to business propositions as and when they arise (so feel free to message me if you do require any website help). When this side of things picks up I will be able to gradually dedicate more time to promoting my current book release, as well as focusing on my next book and other music projects.

I am still learning how to utilise Donna AI, to make my songs sound as close to how they were intended, and/or as good as I can. At the moment some of the songs are as good as (if not better than) I could hope, but there are many that need to be perfected. I am endeavouring to turn all of my lyrics into songs, eventually, and then find a way monetising them (which I have never bothered to do up until now).

I have a couple of options: one is to create multiple conceptual albums as The Lost Connection. but with a sub-category of A.I.M (artificial intelligence music which, in the logo, can be read as I AM). This sounds easy, but I will be carefully considering which songs to group together to build new (but relevant) stories before I start releasing more albums (and singles).

The alternative plan is to build-up a library of songs with sync-licensing potential. My songs were lacking the cinematic production quality and that’s why I haven’t gone down that road up. Now, though, with the help of Donna AI (and maybe other services in due course) the production is exceptional so, if any Music Supervisors are reading this…

I felt I needed to create this post to let you all know what is happening, and going to happen, in The Lost Connection world.
