This song I have not put on FaceBook yet, and I definitely haven’t shared it, as there are loads of innuendos (and I mean LOADS!). If you don’t understand the real meaning behind this song then don’t worry, you won’t be the first. If enough people like it I may share it with more of the world.
Verse 1
I was lying on my sack, feeling slack, something was lacking
I was feeling thin, the shape I’m in, something is missing
I need to get out, and about, and do something
‘Cos while I’m lying here, it’s clear, I’m good enough for nothing.
Chorus
I’ve gotta get out, I’ve gotta do something
Get my blood pumping and shake my stuff
I’ve gotta get out and get back into shape
I’ll straighten-up and lift my head
And rise to the occasion.
Verse 2
So out of the house I went, hell bent
For some fun
I decided in my mind it was time
To get things done
So I headed into town, looked around
For some action
I followed the sound, and I found, the main attraction.
And there stood before me, a beautiful sight to see.
Chorus
I’ve gotta get in, I’ve gotta do something Feel my blood pumping, gonna shake my stuff
I’ve gotta get in, get back into shape
I’ll straighten-up and lift my head
And rise for the occasion.
Verse 3
But everybody, in the street, only wandered by
The pubs were places, where they raced, to enjoy the night
But I liked what I saw, and the doors, drew me near
I lifted up my head, and I said, “Can I come in?”.
Chorus
I’m gonna get in, the fun will soon begin
My blood is pumping, gonna do my thing
I’m gonna go in, I feel I’m in shape
I’ve straightened-up and lifted my head
And risen for the occasion.
Verse 4
But when I went to enter, in the centre, they said, “No!”
The two fat, hairy, lippy bouncers, said I had to go
Always remember to bring a member, if you wanna enter in
If you haven’t got such, then you haven’t much, chance of succeeding.
Chorus
I’ve gotta get in, I’ve gotta do something
Gotta find a member for things to begin I’ve got get in, I was feeling in shape
But now I’m feeling down, can’t believe what was said
After rising for the occasion.
Verse 5
I wandered off, well pissed-off, with my head hung low
A member I had to find, although a bind, I had to go
So I went to a bar, not too far, down the hill
Got talking to a few about a view to a thrill:
I saId, “If I pay, what do you say – will I be let in?”
“Yeh! Sure, You’ll be cool, Johnny is a member.”
Verse 6
When Johnny and I arrived, no surprise, the doors opened at last! But they us getting in, said one thing, before we passed:
“Now wait, get this straight, before you enter in:
“Remember John’, you’ve gotta get on, before things begin.”
“See the sign, ‘No spillages allowed!’
The member, Johnny, will be liable for spillages within the hotel.
You may now enter.”
