Taking my body
To the beach
The sun is out
Getting hot
Rub in the sunscreen – Factor 30
Avoid getting burnt, try to get brown
Make my body look better
With a tan.
I may not be slim
But my clothes are coming off
I’ll only wear shorts
And my flip-flops
Also got a hat which I will need
Got a book, mobile and AirPods
For music while I read…
But later I may have a nod.
White body on the beach
On the sand with sea in reach
White body on the beach
With the sun breaming down.
If I get too hot
Then I’ll go in the sea
And have a swim
Then relax with a beer maybe.
(Then much later!)
In the shade
I view my skin
Arrived 6 hours earlier
Time had flown by
I think I fell asleep with book on my chest
My phone had died and my body now red
But my chest was all white
Where the book had led.
Down on the beach
I try to get brown
Make my body look better
With a tan
That was my plan, but now not the case
Got a red body and a burnt face
I dried my body after coming out the sea
Forgot to put more cream on to protect me,
Oh dear, silly me
I fell asleep for an hour, 2 or 3
Oh dear, silly me
On the beach, in the sand
To get a tan – didn’t go to plan
What’s done is done
Time to buy some Aftersun!
